Here's the MOT page trimmed to fit within 5,000 characters. I've kept the comparison table, all three tiers, and the key compliance points, while cutting the longer preparation notes and tightening the prose.

Health MOT Packages

A clinician-led private health check, combining a full GP assessment with comprehensive blood and (from Gold) urine testing. Three tiers let you choose the depth of review that suits your needs and family history.

Every MOT includes a full GP assessment — your results are reviewed and interpreted by a GMC-registered GP in the context of your medical history, lifestyle, and goals.

A £25 prepayment is taken at booking and fully deducted from the package price.

Silver MOT — £275

A clinician-led general health review covering core preventative biomarkers. Includes Full Blood Count, kidney and electrolyte profile, bone profile, liver profile, lipid profile, HbA1c, and thyroid function (TSH + Free T4).

Best for those wanting a thorough preventative baseline with personalised GP advice, patients over 40 looking for a yearly check, or anyone with non-specific symptoms like fatigue.

Gold MOT — £325

An in-depth review with thyroid antibodies, cancer screening markers, and urine analysis.

Includes everything in Silver plus Free T3, thyroid antibodies (TgAb, TPO), HS-CRP, ferritin, vitamin D, PSA (men) or CA-125 (women), and full urine analysis with culture and sensitivities if needed.

Best for patients investigating fatigue, weight changes, or thyroid symptoms; those with a family history of heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or cancer.

Important: PSA and CA-125 are screening markers, not diagnostic tests. They can be raised for non-cancer reasons, and a normal level does not exclude cancer. Your GP will explain this fully.

Platinum MOT — £600

Our most comprehensive private health check — a full hormone, autoimmune, and digestive review alongside everything in Gold.

Includes everything in Gold plus reproductive hormones (Oestradiol, FSH, LH, Progesterone, Testosterone, Prolactin, SHBG, Free Androgen Index), coeliac screen (Tissue Transglutaminase IgA + total IgA), and Helicobacter pylori IgG.

Best for patients investigating hormonal symptoms, low libido, or fertility concerns, those with a strong family history, or anyone wanting a complete baseline for ongoing monitoring.

Important: screening markers are not diagnostic. Hormone results vary across the menstrual cycle and life stage and need careful clinical interpretation.

How every MOT works

A single appointment covers your GP assessment, blood draw, and (where included) urine sample. Samples are analysed at an accredited UK laboratory. A GMC-registered GP reviews every report and provides written comments placing each value in clinical context. Results are released to you and, with your consent, shared with your NHS GP.

Clinical follow-up

Available from £50 (phone/video) or £80 (in person) to discuss findings, plan further tests, or arrange referral. Urgent or abnormal results are communicated promptly at no additional charge.

Before you book

  • Preparation: fast 8–12 hours (water only). Take regular medication as normal unless advised otherwise. Morning appointments preferred for accurate cholesterol, glucose, and testosterone results.

  • PSA (men, Gold/Platinum): avoid vigorous exercise, cycling, or ejaculation for 48 hours before testing.

  • Hormone testing (women, Gold/Platinum): results vary across the menstrual cycle. Please tell your GP where you are in your cycle and whether you use HRT or contraception.

  • Coeliac screen (Platinum): continue eating gluten in your normal diet, or the result may be falsely negative.

  • Not a substitute for symptoms-based care: if you have new or worrying symptoms, book a GP consultation rather than relying on a health check alone.

  • Not a diagnostic guarantee: the MOT screens for common biomarkers of general health, not every possible condition.
